Who let the Dogs out?

Social Walk

Of course, most dog owners walk their dogs regularly. But are you also out and about together? Do you recognize when your dog needs support? Do you recognize changes in his posture, his expressive behavior? What do you do when someone with a dog comes towards you? Do you know your dog well enough to know how he feels, or do you test him by simply allowing an encounter? Does your dog, do you have the tools you need to manage everyday life together with your dog without worry?

Content

A social walk takes place on the leash with always enough distance from the other teams. Here the goal is to quietly overtake, cross or observe the other participants if necessary, without the dogs making intense physical contact with each other.

We learn:
Observing and assessing situations based on knowledge
How to deal with situations that are part of everyday life
Appropriate social contact with dogs and people
Understand your dog's expressive behavior

I will be able to walk with each team for a short time per lesson, the rest of the time requires independent action.

Conditions of participation

All dogs are welcome. PLEASE LEAVE DOGS IN THE CAR AT THE BEGINNING!
New clients must first schedule 1-2 one-on-one sessions with me to practice the basics so that each team is well prepared and knows how to react at what moment.
