In the SKN practical class you will learn skills for your daily life with your dog. We convey first cues & obedience knowledge. The cues will be build up in fun exercises. The participants start to train their observation skill regarding the body language of their dog.
They get input concerning the code of conduct, how to approach another dog, what to think about when my dog is accompanying me, etc. We are working without pressure and work with positive reinforcement.
To receive the certification, the participant must attend min. 4 times.
Since September 1, 2008 the Federal Animal Welfare Ordinance regulates:
You must attend the mandatory practical lessons (praktischer SKN) with your dog at least four times, for 1 hour each. The course must be completed within one year of the dog entering your home. Important: This practical class is also mandatory if you are moving with your dog to Switzerland.
